The Short Version

The App: Everything happens on your device. Your calendar stays on your device. We can't see your meetings.

The Website: We use standard tools (like Google Analytics) to see if our marketing works, and we collect your email if you sign up for the waitlist.

That's it. That's the policy.

What BeOnTime Does

BeOnTime is a simple meeting reminder app that:

• Reads your calendar (on your device) to know when meetings are scheduled
• Sends you alerts (from your device) before meetings start
• That's it

No servers. No databases. No tracking. Just local reminders.

What We Access

📅 Your Calendar

• Why we need it: To see when your meetings are scheduled
• What we access: Meeting titles, times, and event details
• Where it stays: On your device only

What we DON'T do:

• Store your calendar data anywhere
• Send it to servers (we don't have servers)
• Share it with anyone
• Sync it to the cloud

🔔 Notifications

• Why we need it: To alert you before meetings
• What we do: Create local notifications on your device

What we DON'T do:

• Send push notifications from servers
• Track whether you opened notifications
• Collect data about your alerts

What We Don't Collect

We don't collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name
• Your email address (unless you provide it on our website)
• Your phone number
• Your location
• Your calendar data
• Your meeting details
• Usage analytics (inside the App)
• Crash reports
• Device identifiers (inside the App)
• Any personal information

Website Interactions (The Exception)

While the BeOnTime App collects nothing, our Website does collect information if you voluntarily provide it:

1. Launch Waitlist

• What we collect: Your email address.
• Purpose: To email you when the app launches and send your discount code.
• Storage: Stored securely via Formbricks (our form provider).

2. Contact & Feedback Forms

• What we collect: Your email, name (optional), and message.
• Purpose: To answer your questions or fix bugs you report.

If you email us at [email protected], we'll have your email address to respond. We delete all support emails after 30 days.

Third-Party Services

The BeOnTime App (the thing you install on your Mac) is completely private. It does not contain any third-party tracking code.

The Website (beontimeapp.com), however, uses industry-standard tools to help us grow:

1.Meta (Facebook) Pixel

• Purpose: We run ads on Facebook/Instagram. This tool tells us if an ad click resulted in a waitlist signup.
• Data: Links your visit here to your Facebook profile (managed by Meta).
• Scope: Website only. Never the app.

2. Formbricks

• Purpose: Powers our Waitlist and Contact forms.

3. Apple: Your subscription is processed through Apple's App Store, which is completely separate from BeOnTime.

Cookies & Ad Tracking

To make the services above work, our website uses "cookies" (small data files stored on your browser).

Why we use them:

• Analytics: To count visitors.
• Marketing: To show ads to people who visited our site but didn't sign up (Retargeting), or to stop showing ads to people who already signed up.

Your Choices:

You can block cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, but we won't know you visited.

Payment & Subscriptions

Your subscription is handled 100% by Apple.

Apple collects:

• Payment information
• Your Apple ID
• Billing details

We receive from Apple:

• Anonymous confirmation that someone subscribed
• No payment details
• No personal information
• No way to identify who you are

Data Security

Since we don't collect or store your data, there's nothing for us to lose or leak.

Your data is protected by:

• Your device security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• iOS sandboxing (apps can't access each other's data)
• Apple's Calendar permissions (you control what we can access)

Your Privacy Rights

You have complete control:

Delete Your Data

Just delete the app. All local data is immediately erased from your device. Nothing to request, nothing to wait for.

Revoke Calendar Access

Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → BeOnTime → Toggle off

The app will stop working, but your privacy is fully restored.

Cancel Your Subscription

Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → BeOnTime → Cancel

Managed entirely through Apple. We never see your subscription details.

Children's Privacy

BeOnTime is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13, because:

• The App collects no data
• The Website does not target children
• We don't require account creation
• We don't communicate with servers
• Everything stays on the device

Parents: You can verify this by checking your device's privacy settings.

Future Changes

We have no plans to change how we handle data, but if we ever do:

Before collecting any new data, we will:

• Update this privacy policy
• Update the "Last updated" date
• Notify you in the app before the change takes effect
• Give you the option to opt out or delete the app

Current policy: We collect nothing.

International Users

BeOnTime works the same everywhere:

• 🇪🇺 Europe (GDPR): For the App, we collect no data. For the Website, we process data (like cookies) based on legitimate interest for marketing. You have the right to opt-out of cookies via your browser.
• 🇺🇸 California (CCPA): We use third-party cookies for advertising. You can opt-out using browser "Do Not Track" settings.
